Year 4 had a very exciting sleepover in school! They came back to school armed with goodies, sleeping bags and lots of energy. We had a picnic in the hall, playground outside, watched a film, had a quiz (organised by Mr Digby) and made some crafts. It was a wonderful evening and the children were amazing, as always!
Year 4 had a busy time finishing off their ‘Habitats’ topic by visiting Meersbrook park to discover the animals that live there. We are so lucky to have such a great resource so close to us. The children got to see and sketch Badger Setts and many other local habitats.
Year 4 have had a very busy fortnight learning all about ‘Time’. The children have been using their knowledge of 24-hour time to design their own school timetables. They had to include Maths, English and PE – the rest was up to them! Safe to say, we had some very interesting suggestions.
