We would like to thank our wonderful staff for keeping the school open and ensuring that our vulnerable children and the children of key workers have the provision they need. Thank you!
All of our home learning packs can be found in the home learning page under curriculum. If you would like to share some of your home learning to put on our Twitter pages or Facebook, then send them to: firstname.lastname@example.org
Carfield Community Primary School is a good school and has now entered into a soft federation with Bankwood Community Primary School.
Both schools will be working together to provide a rich and exciting curriculum for our children. Staff will benefit from sharing expertise across the two sites.
Although larger than average, admitting children from the age of 3, Carfield is a friendly community based school. Children and parents work together to support our children and raise funds for the school. Extra funding allows us to further enrich the curriculum through, for example, our music festival, which I am happy to note will also this year involve Bankwood musicians.
Children at Carfield feel safe and happy at school which allows them to be successful in their learning.
‘Pupils are happy and confident individuals. They are kind to each other and politely greet adults with a ‘Good morning’, while helpfully holding doors open.’ Ofsted February 2019
Many improvements were made last year, not least achieving a, ‘GOOD’ grade at Ofsted. We are committed to constantly reviewing our curriculum, to ensure that it motivates children and inspires young minds to have high aspirations.
I hope you will find that our website has all the information you need. However, should you require further information please do not hesitate to contact us.
